This page lists content that was replaced/reworked, removed or not used in the update releases of the games featured in the Slendytubbies Saga.

Game Features[]

Admin Console[]

Despite the Admin Console still being a feature in the game, the feature (bug) was removed that allowed players to open the console themselves by pressing ‘TAB’ in a versus room.

Night Vision Camera Battery[]

Night Vision Camera Battery was a mechanic that allowed the player to use the camera for only 10 seconds, after which the player automatically exits the camera and should wait for the camera to recharge to use again. This was removed in Update V2.1.

Sandbox[]

Sandbox is an unused map which was likely a test map during development. It has terrain that might potentially be from Main Land, just with no details such as trees or grass. This map has four areas with four textures (Grass, Metal, Rock and Sand). There also two New Borns, however they are completely inactive.

Other content[]

Thanks to a program called “uTinyRipper”, the game is able to be explored even further in depth. For example, there is a model of Po hanging at the player’s spawn in Teletubby Land (Day), that is normally disabled. It is unknown why this is there, because the regular hanging Po that players see is there anyway. Its possible that it was simply a test actor, or it was a duplicate the developers had forgotten to delete. The same program discovered there are hidden FNAF 1 sounds and textures located inside the Textures2D folder and the SoundClips folder.

‒ This also occurs in Teletubby Land (Night).

TubbyCraft[]

Underneath TubbyCraft’s map, there are several models of the Teletubby House, along with other various objects, including what seems to be a village, that in Minecraft is generated naturally with the world unless disabled.

Many of the areas underneath, excluding the village, are leftovers from HEAL Pony’s original Minecraft Map. These areas were used for the main menu segments such as the menu, character select and map select.

Teletubby Outskirts[]

In older versions of Slendytubbies II, Teletubby Outskirts had a different skybox. A possible reason as to why it was changed is Sean updating the game to include a less dark atmosphere. As a result of this, the skybox would no longer fit in the map.

Teletubby Secret Lair, Teletubby Land (Night), Teletubby Lake[]

In versions prior to V2.2; Teletubby Secret Lair, Teletubby Land (Night), and Teletubby Lake shared the same skybox. It has, since, gone unused but it’s still visible in their thumbnails, besides Teletubby Secret Lair. One possible reason as to why it was removed is Sean updating the atmosphere of the game, thus the skybox no longer fit within the maps.

Teletubby Land (Day)[]

In earlier stages of Slendytubbies II, Teletubby Land (Day) was much darker. It also featured the same rain and lightning that was present in the nighttime variant of the map. This was removed in V1.1 for seemingly no reason, but it is still noticeable in the preview.

Icon[]

Originally, the icon for Slendytubbies II was a render of The Guardian’s head with Tinky Tank’s head on the right. It is unknown as to why this icon was changed to the current one.

Laa-Laa's scream[]

In the game's trailer, Laa-Laa has a different scream when spotting the player.

Po's alternative spawning location[]

In the Sattelite Station map, there is a hidden PO npc that's disabled by default. It's completely stripped of any script or animation. It might imply that PO used to start off at this location in pre-release versions of the game. She's located in the room in front of the Player's spawn room.

Characters[]

Dipsy’s Corpse[]

Dipsy’s corpse was never seen in the game. His texture appears in game files. However, prior to the Update V1.5, he was only character that didn’t return in this game.

Custom Map Test By Sean[]

Unused map test, in release level was deleted. From map remains map icon and map name.

Game Modes[]

Deathmatch[]

After the release of Update V1.19 in Slendytubbies III, an experimental mode called “Deathmatch” was added to the game but was removed in Update V1.20.

In this mode, players fought against each other using randomly given guns. Each time a player respawned, they would receive a new random gun. There was also a timer of about 22 minutes. After the timer expired, the player with the most kills won the game.

Characters[]

Brute Twins[]

Even though the Brute Twins still remain in the game, they were given an overhaul after the release of Update V1.28.

Originally, they did not feature their gloves and boots but were added to fit their original design by Ruption Shine. Their animations also featured an overhaul as they were given a new walking/running animation. Despite having an overhaul, the thumbnail of the Cabin map still features their older model.

Scythe Tubby[]

The Scythe Tubby is an original, non-canon and fan-made character of LeyAM. He, alongside the Military Outpost, was added in Update V1.25.

He was the threat of the Military Outpost map and was the final threat in Survival Mode. He had the same moveset than Ghost Girl and like other bosses, his punches delt 60 base damage.

He was removed in Update V1.26. However, he was re-added in Update V1.27 but was removed a second time in Update V1.28 due to his creator wanting to distance himself from the Slendytubbies series.

Trivia[]

  • He was the third OC to appear in the game, the others being the Brute Twins who still remain in the game.
  • His Area Smoke attack caused a large amount of lag, which is the reason why he was removed in Update V1.26.
  • He, the Shadow Tubby, the Ghost Girl, and the Guardian were, at the time, the only bosses to have three special abilities.
    • They also all have used the same chase track while chasing the player.

Audio[]

Scream[]
Soundtrack[]

The Crawler[]

Prior to Update V2.0, The Crawler had a different model that looked like his model from the regretful ending and his sprite from Slendytubbies 2D. It is unknown why was his model redesigned, although, the rework did “solve” the mystery on why did he have an antenna that he did not have when he was The Guardian — now, he wears Dipsy’s hat. The old model had: bigger red eyes, different teeth, an antenna that looked like Laa-Laa’s antenna, and a different attack and run animation — also, his skin was not pale. The Crawler did not have the parasite-like creature on his back, but had left over parts of his spine and intestines that were dragging behind him — his body really did look like if he was split in half. The Crawler had blood on his fur.

Maps[]

Military Outpost[]

The Military Outpost is a map by LeyAM. It, alongside Scythe Tubby, was added in Update V1.25.

It's a ravaged walled compound in a desert, with some additional objects and structures nearby. Dust and sand flows through heavily and it seems to be set during either an afternoon or dusk.

It was wandered by the Scythe Tubby. The map was removed in Update V1.26 due to the Scythe Tubby having too many bugs. However, it was re-added in Update V1.27 but was removed a second time in Update V1.28 due to its creator wanting to distance himself from the Slendytubbies series.

According to Sean Toman, the map is also the cause of crashes that people can have.

Cabin[]

An ambience made by Ruption Shine was planned to be added as the ambiance of Cabin. However, this was not used due to the fear of possible copyright.

Trivia[]

  • The cicada song at the end of the audio file is a reference to the anime “Higurashi”, which landscapes inspired the Brute Tubbies’ territory.

Items[]

Camera Recorder[]

The Camera Recorder is an item that is never shown in game. It could be possibly a placeholder.

CamCorder

Unused Gun[]

In the trailer, there was a gun that the player would use to kill enemies, it was an unused gun due to it never appeared in the full game. It is unknown why it got removed. Using hacks it can be still accessed and even has unique sounds and animations.

Campaign[]

Laa-Laa’s Corpse[]

Once Tinky Winky has gone missing in Chapter 0 — “It Was Good”, if Po decides to wake Laa-Laa up, her corpse will be found on the beach. Even though the corpse is still in the game, its appearance has changed from the DEMO to the full game. The corpse resembles its appearance from the first and second game. That version of the corpse was most likely a placeholder used for the DEMO.

Night Vision Camera[]

When the Night Vision Camera is seen in Chapter 1’s Promo, The Night Vision Camera has extra icons that did not appear in the full release. According to Sean, the icons were removed to make the Night Vision Camera more simplistic and easier to understand. In the other promos. It was supposed to be a plus on the middle of the camera.

Tobby’s Keycard[]

Originally, Ruption Shine had designed a different picture for Tobby to put on his keycard but it was scrapped. It was later added with an update.

Secret Center[]

During Chapter 3’s Promo, the Secret Center can be seen with numerous Blue Worker corpses. These corpses are still present in the Campaign, however, they are hidden when entering the Secret Center. This was discovered thanks to a program known as uTinyRipper. The blood splatters can still be seen along with a dismembered leg in-game, if the player clips out of the Satellite Station and hovers the camera above the Secret Center before actually entering it.

Trivia[]

  • It is possible that this may have just been planned for the teaser, and was not meant to show up in the final game.

Unit 437[]

While Unity 437 did appear in the final release, he was not meant to stay and be destroyed. As confirmed by Sean in a Youtube comment on the video "Slendytubbies Is a Broken Yet Perfect Masterpiece" he was originally meant to become a companion, but due to Sean being short on time, he scrapped it. Not much is know about how he would have acted, but he likely would not continue with the guardian through the Outskirts, but what would have happened to him is unknown.

Teleport[]

In a screenshot of V2.0, while it was still in development, there was a option to teleport by pressing F but it was later scrapped.

Dipsy’s Corpse[]

Dipsy’s Corpse was like the classic one but the head was on the floor instead of the slide, however, his corpse was remodeled in V2.1, it is unknown why but it is possibly due to the original having too much blood and the body being classic, Dipsy's First Phase Infected now matches the body but without a chainsaw, his head was now on the slide with no blood on the face and with closed eyes with one blood on his head.

Pause Menu[]

The old pause menu contain many features before being replaced by a new one in V2.0. The old pause menu contain more things than the current pause menu such as number of kills, deaths, and current ping. The old pause menu also showed team members such as Survivors, Infected, and Spectators.
