Slendytubbies III: The Apocalypse DLC is Santikun’s standalone sequel to Slendytubbies III’s Campaign.

It was supposed to include Chapter 4 which was divided into three different parts. Unlike the rest of the games of Zeoworks, the game was mainly being developed by Santikun with little input from Sean.

A DEMO featuring the first half of “Part Two: Meltdown” was released on November 17, 2018.

Soon afterwards, Santikun cancelled the project, who at the time stated the reason being due to the Slendytubbies community being too toxic, though later on he confirmed this was not the case, and it was due to him not wanting to work on the project. :(

Regardless of the cancellation of the DLC, a developer supposedly has confirmed that it is still canon to the story.

Meltdown[]

Events[]

Three months after the events of Slendytubbies III’s Multiplayer, The Guardian, SGT. Miles, and Anne have come to the bunker in which the Teletubby Creation Machine is kept, to try and destroy the machine. Miles asks The Guardian to see if either of the two hallways lead to the machine. One of them is locked. Once he has entered the other hallway, the gates behind close on him. He yells at Miles and Anne to open the gates, but they are mysteriously gone. After going deeper into the hallway, The Guardian hallucinates that he has been transported to a mysterious dark area where Shadow Tubby chases him. He suddenly awakens after Miles and Anne opened the gate. Miles slaps him and calls him useless, while Anne takes The Guardian’s side in the argument. The Guardian then finds a lockpick at the end of the hall. He asks Anne and Miles to see if they have anything he can lockpick the locked door with. Miles gives him his knife and tells him to stop bothering himself. The Guardian lockpicks the door and then opens it and finds a long stairway. While walking down the stairs he experiences more hallucinations, the first one of Tinky Winky. The floor of the stairs he was walking down changes to look like the floor of the first hallucination he had. Next, The Guardian experiences a Headless Dipsy hallucination, and the stairway starts to look like the Satellite Station. The Guardian then has a hallucination of Laa-Laa, and the stairway turns into a hallway made of flesh. Finally, he has a hallucination of Po in her second form and is then stops hallucinating when he reaches the bottom of the stairs. The Guardian then goes down a few more hallways leading to the machine where Miles and Anne are waiting and then passes out. After ten minutes, he wakes up, and Miles asks him to investigate the machine. There are New Borns being kept in pods next to the machine. The Guardian attempts to scan Tobby’s keycard to use the machine’s terminal, but the card does not have enough permission to access it. Miles acquires an axe to destroy the machine, but The Guardian stops him and asks him if he is curious on how it works. Miles and Anne explain to The Guardian about the machine:

“It all started with humans. A huge epidemic happened, and it was killing most of the population. Reproducing wasn’t an option anymore. People would just die before they were even born. The human race was so desperate to maintain their species, they tried what they thought impossible. They created a machine to create more humans. However, the machine didn’t come out as expected. The anatomy of these artificial humans was different. Their skin was furry and they had televisions in their bellies. They had no fingers in their hands. They had no toes in their feet.”

“That’s us, right?”

“Yes, that’s correct. The humans failed on their experiments, but we were the closest thing to humans they could create. They named our species ‘Teletubbies’, due to the televisions in our stomachs. Our race didn’t have access to the machine, but we still tried to recreate our race in case of extinction. To difference the subjects from our race, they added antennas in their heads.”

Miles then tries to destroy the machine and The Guardian has two options:

  • Letting Miles destroy the machine (Doing nothing)
  • Stop Miles from destroying the machine (Saying “Wait.”)

Letting Miles destroy the machine[]

If The Guardian does not do anything, Miles will destroy the machine. The lights will then break, and the New Borns break out of their pods. They start screaming, as The Guardian and Anne run away, leaving Miles behind — this leads to Variant 1.

Stopping Miles from destroying the machine[]

The Guardian will say that they could use the machine to repopulate the world after the incident is done with, and Anne agrees with him. Miles begins to argue with them.

The player gains control of Anne, and then she has a choice, with three options:

  • Staying silent (Doing nothing)
  • Telling Miles to destroy the machine (Saying “Destroy it.”)
  • Telling Miles to not destroy the machine (Saying “Don’t destroy it.”)

Staying silent[]

If Anne does not do anything, Miles will get tired of waiting and he is going to destroy the machine. After this, he will get into an argument with The Guardian, and then start fighting him. After a bit, the lights will break, and the New Borns will escape their pods. The Guardian, Anne, and Miles run away — this leads to Variant 3.

Letting Miles from destroy the machine[]

If Anne tells Miles to do it, he will destroy the machine. The lights will then break, and the New Borns break out of their pods. They start screaming, as The Guardian and Anne run away, leaving Miles behind. This leads to Variant 1.

Stopping Miles from destroying the machine[]

If Anne tells Miles to not do it, he will give up and not destroy it.

Miles will then get a call from Ninja, and will try to communicate with him, but the phone’s signal will cut out. After that, the phone will start making a loud noise, alerting the New Borns of their presence. Miles will manage to turn it off, but by then it is too late, as a New Born has broken out of its pod. It will try to attack The Guardian, which lead to a quick-time event where the player has to press “Q”.

Failing the quick-time event[]

If the player does not press “Q” in time, The Guardian will get hit by the New Born, and fall to the ground. The other New Borns will break out of their pods, while Anne and Miles run away — this leads to Variant 4.

Getting the quick-time event[]

If the player does press “Q” in time, The Guardian will dodge the attack, and kill the New Born with the Knife he got from Miles earlier.

The other New Borns then break out of their pods, while The Guardian, Anne, and Miles run away. They go to the exit of the bunker, only to see that it is blocked off by New Borns. Anne asks what they should do next, then Miles replies with “Now, we fight.” This leads to Variant 2.

From the looks of it, Variant 2 seems to be the intended ending.

Trivia[]

  • There was planned to be a level named "Electric Hell" which would have taken place in a city and had electricity, though the specifics of this level is currently unknown.
  • This was confirmed to have been even larger then the Campaign for Slendytubbies III, despite being just one chapter.
